It does not. The real fault can only be confirmed with the device in hand, because the same symptom can have several causes. The tool helps you get your bearings, estimate the cost and decide whether to try it yourself or bring the computer to us.
My computer got wet, what should I do right away?
Turn it off at once by holding the power button, unplug the charger and remove the battery if you can. Turn it keyboard-down and do not power it on or dry it with a hairdryer, because both heat and electric current do harm. Then bring it in as soon as possible, with liquids time is everything.
The drive is clicking or files are disappearing. What now?
Use the device as little as possible and do not needlessly power it off and on. Do not install anything or try repair tools, every further write to the disk lowers the chance of rescuing the data. If the data matters, bring the drive in for professional recovery.
